Who we are

PlanB SPC (الخطة الأفضل ش.ش.و), commercial registration 1356671, Sultanate of Oman. Ranna is a service that venues (cafés, restaurants, clinics and others) use to call their customers on their phones. The venue owns its customers' data; we process it on the venue's behalf to run the service.

If you are a customer waiting for your order

• We never ask for your name or phone number, and you need no account.
• We keep the order number and its times (issued, ready, picked up or cancelled), the page language, whether you turned the alert on, and a short note if the staff typed one (such as the table number).
• The page creates a random code that stays in your browser. The venue never sees the code itself: we keep only a one-way fingerprint of it, specific to that venue, used only to tell whether you have visited before.
• If you allow notifications, we keep the subscription address your browser gives us to send the "ready" alert, and delete it one day after the order.
• If you rate your visit, we keep the stars and the note you write, and the venue sees them.

If you are staff or a venue owner

• We keep the name, the sign-in name, and the password or PIN, hashed in a way that cannot be reversed.
• We keep the devices you signed in on (browser type and time of use) for 60 days, so you stay signed in.
• Venue data: name, logo, colours, messages, review link and branches.

Retention and deletion

• Order and rating records stay while the venue's account exists, for its reports. The PlanB team deletes them when the venue asks, and when its account closes.
• Notification subscriptions: one day after the order. Abuse-protection records (which include the device's IP address): two days.
• Questions or deletion requests: WhatsApp +968 7111 1711. We delete within 30 days.

Who processes data with us

• Namecheap hosts the server in the United States; the server keeps the usual access logs (including IP addresses).
• Your browser's push service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft) delivers the alert and only ever receives its encrypted text.
• The PlanB team may see data for support and maintenance, including through Anthropic's assistant Claude.
• No advertising, no third-party tracking, and we never sell any data.

Children and changes

The service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
